Hai dear’s, I’m A.B.Q, and I’ve been working in the Shipping and NVOCC field for more than 10 years.

I still remember my first interview clearly. Back then, things were simpler — interviewers mostly checked if you looked neat, spoke respectfully, and were willing to work hard. That alone was enough to get an opportunity.

But today, things have changed. The competition is tougher.
As a fresher, you need to know at least the basic shipping concepts before you walk into an interview. HRs now expect you to understand what a shipping company does, what NVOCC means, and how the process works — even at a basic level.
